I had only considered the term Ipsissimus as the ultimate grade of the OTO from long ago reading of the Crowley autobiography, but the word ipsissimus has stuck with me since then, fully realizing the folly of not wanting to be an initiate in that order, let alone attaining the ultimate status within it. Makes sense now...Your topic conncected the word and the recurring feeling of the meaning of it immensely, the long standing questioning of whether I am on the true path I intended upon before being born. The anti-qualities of this current antithetical age, contemplation, self sufficiency, deep engagement, persistence, sincerity, reliability feel like the deep draw of an arrow, loaded with the full force of what must come next. A Renaissance of asceticism in many ways perhaps. But the only way to hold any of the real gains made under the current regime. Thank you.
